all the best mate we had the same fate back end of 2007,as some people know on here ive got chronic emphysema which keeps me confined to my home for long periods,ive been pretty poorly this last three weeks,i was visited by my aras nurse from durham  univirsity hospital funny enough they took a sputum for to be tested.and what has been talked about on the thread the bug they found was called streptococcus  pneumonia i havnt got a clue what it is as ive never heard of it anyone on the thread know what it is as ime on my second course of antibiotics and steroids will finish them next week see if it makes any difference.sorry if i hacked into the thread just i was curious about the bugs found.

Know it under another name, pneumonococcal disease, and only because being a diabetic this was one of the first vaccinations I was given, along with the seasonal flu jab.

perhaps its available to Billy for a seasonal jab ? anyway get well Billy ill be up a week today :)
