Hi there,

I aasked my friend to pick up some pigeon food from petshop today to save us both going. She has bought Regular instead of Young Bird. I can't buy another bag till Friday so will a couple of days on Regular do them any harm? It's Bucktons Racing Pigeon where they usually have Bucktons Young Birds.

Thanks all

the regular mix will be fine mandy, when you get your yb mix on friday just mix it all up together and then your birds get the benefit of all the different grains and all the different vitamins in them ;)  alot of the pigeon mixes have the same grains but just in different amounts  all the best  kev

I use widowhood mix for all my birds young and old and has done them no harm at all

Must admit that I had never considered anything as old bird food, or young bird food for that matter. Whatever is put in front of it, if the bird recognises it as food it will eat it, regardless of age..
