Guest karl adams Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 would it not be better if the mods were to inform members on the site that they are going to remove there posts be fore they do so or at least send them a pm as soon as they have removed it to explain why it has been moved it may then stop a lot of members getting upset with the mods :-/

lawrie Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 if the subject is offensive then i can understand. but the writer should be giving a reason why the post was removed.
Guest anto Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 chris john made the fantistic offer and hes thread was taken off he then removed the offer because no one notifide him it was moved and put it back on again when things were exp to him would it not be easier to pm people first and save the hassle
Guest youngzimmy Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 yes i had two posts about up coming show for some reason both were removed sent the fifer a pm asking why didnt even get an answer makes you wonder about the future of the site it you cannot get an answer about a simple problem at least proove to us the users that you know what you are doing and it is for all our good to make it a worthwhile site to come on to otherwise it will go down the pan like all the rest
Roland Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 would it not be better if the mods were to inform members on the site that they are going to remove there posts be fore they do so or at least send them a pm as soon as they have removed it to explain why it has been moved it may then stop a lot of members getting upset with the mods :-/ Here we go again!!! Wouldn't it be better if 'YOU' became a 'Mod' solely for this purpose :-/ :-/ Wouldn't it be better if they put THEIR' posts in the right slot in the first place? Can't be hard that, even I do moatly. One would think they'd be happy the 'Mods' were doing their needless chores for them. :-/ Save the 'Mods' a lot of usless wasted time. :-/ Would it be better for the Poster to apolise to the 'Mods' for wasting their time! :-/ Wouldn't be better to accept that they've made a genuine mistake and leave it at that! ... and hence the the extra work the 'Mods' do to just go quietly by. Wouldn't it be better for such posts to be ignored! :-/ Indeed would it be better if the poster of such found something better to do with their idle time!? :-/ Strueth just let them get on with their job... Besides you don't have to use this site, and if not happy don't, but to needlessly post rubbish and old hash relates to one better not using this site for the rest of us. I mean just does it matter? Who gives a jot outside of the few that needlessly nit pick. And yes you are. Yes it is a futile and senseless waste of time. I mean just who hasn't seen all this c$ap posted umpteens times? :-/ And who needs it? Well the answer to that is 'NO - ONE' strueth hven't you got any real realistic 'Beefs' TO MOAN ABOUT in your dull lifes? Give ita a rest.
OLDYELLOW Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 mods and adim will answer any querys about posts been removed , at times they can be more than one post to remove and pm ing each member would result in abusive posts been left , however if members posted on the correct boards posts wouldnt be moved , the different boards are there to enable searches for such posts at a later date .The biggest reason threads are removed is due to swearing and abusive content and if posters wish to post abusively then it goes without question that post will be removed as this is a family site , since this post has been answered this topic is now locked , and instead of making threads on main page any reports to be sent by the report to moderator button which will be dealt with by admin , these type of threads are only aimed at distupting the site and are in breach of moderation rules .
