Pigeons flights

Can i tell the differents between a sprint/distance pigeon by there flights i have only got stock birds at the moment what was given to me by people to start me off but i dont know what breed they are and want to breed some babys.

No I'm afraid you can't tell by looks, that is the danger of gift birds you wont know until you try them, unless the doner has given you information on the birds
