Not really needing to do much wth them at the minute, it all kicks of for me the beginning of March and even then 30miles away if the farthest booking I have ,just don't want to loose them as they are still pretty young
blaz Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Snap chris why feed feed the BOP got a race in 3 weeks late breds need trained
Guest bakes Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 6 miles, they have done it before from the same village a few months ago They are out for a good 45 mins an hour each day but just being over protective probably ;D i was the same when i first had them wonce you get a step up toss in and you see them coming back you be ok like you said 45 minutes to an hours in that time do they go off ranging there proberly doing more or less what you taking them training before i locked down loft my birds would go out at 8 in morning wouldnt see a pigeon in site until around five to nine then one shake of the tin they drop onto loft run to sputnik and trap dont worry they do 10 miles easy but i would say let them out for a morning fly as soon as they land back on loft get them in then take them up the road in the afternoon so they wont mess about as soon as there libbed there get the bearings and straight home saves them flying around home for half hour like what happened to me so i always let them out morning when training then take them down to cheltenham or warwick for a toss all the best.
blaz Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Not really needing to do much wth them at the minute, it all kicks of for me the beginning of March and even then 30miles away if the farthest booking I have ,just don't want to loose them as they are still pretty young the birds i have seen at yours will do 30 mile in march no problem
