Guest IB Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 You basically start from scratch and do what you should have done in the first place. (1) You ask for permission to keep pigeons on council property; (2) You apply for restrospective planning permission for the loft you've already built. (3) You make sure that all the neighbours that share a boundary with the ground the loft is on have no objection to it and the pigeons in it. Good luck in this.
p charlton Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 easy use the 10/6 for the cocks and young use rabbit cages for stock and hens

BLACK W F Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 well have 2 8x6 they nerver said you could only have one
Guest IB Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 tell them where to go. theres more important things for them to do. probally some neighbour has complained. Bad advice. His house missives probably contain a 'no animals' clause, without permission. If he hasn't got permission to keep animals on council property, he's broken the terms of lease. The council could go to court to have him evicted from his home. Nothing more important than keeping a roof over your family's head..
adam owen Posted January 4, 2010 Author Report Posted January 4, 2010 sorry didnt say it is only the one shed if i did have two sheds at tha size then its only two foot shorter than what ive already got see they wont have it

Guest Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 up here was the same difficult to get permission the decision was challenged at a council meeting and won you can now get an 18x6 loft with permission but 1 complaint is not enough to get it thrown out the argument of infringing on your human rights to participate in your chosen hobby was upheld if you get to a council meeting and have your say it will cost you nothing and they will not want to be on record as denying permission without good grounds incase you take it further good luck dave
adam owen Posted January 4, 2010 Author Report Posted January 4, 2010 cheers jason im gutted i can take the loft to my nans and race but wud rather have them in my own garden ect my nan wont have the house for ever eather so id rather push for it know

holmsidelofts Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 cheers jason im gutted i can take the loft to my nans and race but wud rather have them in my own garden ect my nan wont have the house for ever eather so id rather push for it know that was going to be my next suggestion, the other would be an allotment, do you have an outhouse attached to your house you can convert that to a stock loft with no issues. Let me know if you need a hand with anything mate. jas
DOVEScot Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 tell them where to go. theres more important things for them to do. probally some neighbour has complained. I wish we could I tried that with a pergola I built and thought the council would ignore my neighbours complaints solely on the fact she did not like the look of it. The inspector who is in favour of us and realises it is trivial told me basically if I ignored the complaint they would serve me with a notice giving me 4 weeks to comply and then they would give me another four weeks to remove the structure and if not they would fine me £250, hire a company to remove it along with police involvement if need be and I would be footed the bill for it all. So I am applying for planning permission which I think I will win :-/

Not word of mouth End of discussion (excuse me ) you dont know everything then they DID go infront of the council after asking the fed for backing and not getting it 2002 or 2003 george says hes got documents to prove it aswell so mr taylor was not the only one to go infront of the council
