Guest Paulo Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 Tnanks Shippy I live in Durham at the minute and fly in the WDA myself. Been flying two year now and had a good run flying against top blokes. Due to work commitments mainly travel time I am looking to move down to Downholme Village which is 6 miles away from Richmond. I'd have to pack the pigeons in until I get settled and the house garden is big enough for a loft but its wire city with being a small village. Their'll probably be an opportunity to rent a bit of land in the village for a loft but won't be able to have a big a setup as I did in durham due to cost etc. Think Downholme would be with Richmonds radius? I'll have a look in the amal handbook and see if I can get contact details for the sec. Would be interested in a partnership if anyone on here is from that area. I can offer top class birds that have been winning against top flyers like Nelson & Hall and Hodgson Son & Cowie in the WDA. I plan to keep the lofts on in Durham while I'm down there as don't fancy undoing all my hard work until I know if the move works out.

REDCHEQHEN Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 You may well be outside the NEHU Boundary at those two locations - I would speak to Dave Power first - or the secretaries of Richmond HS and Brompton HS

Early days yet but 90% sure its gonna happen as sick of travelling and need to move out. Would keep birds on in durham for time being visiting on weekends to clean out if me dad feeds them for me during the week. You free on sat our fed do if you up for it? Just don't say out to me dad about this move as he'll have a heart attack at loosing his board and pigeon racing partner
