Humidity Plates are very good if used right have looked at them for along time and asked many winning lofts about them and how they are used.

Look back in time and they was lofts that was on top of bakehouse's and they helped keep very dry lofts.

Damp lofts are a thing of the past if you want to be a winner you have to control the loft environment 24/7 and not let the weather control your results.

The best flyer in your fed will not tell you how to beat him only how to fall flat on your face.

Somthing to ponder about ,,,,,Hot air contains more moisture than Cold air,,,,  ;) I would go the road of having a de-humidifier to extract the moisture ,

some good posts ?? so would all agree maybe a de-humidifier is the best??   andy.

you have to have a good loft air and sun are free so use it to bring the best out of your birds.

i think de-humidifiers make 2 much noise for a pigeon to rest right.

you can use all the feeding that a champion flyer tells you to but if the loft is not right they will not come in to condition

you have to have many things to have a good loft.

how many top flyers will come to your loft and tell you what you have to change for the better in the loft if they fly in the same area they will not say much.

they are some pigeon men that say you do not need them but its down to the place your birds fly to.

are they trees round your lofts is they water round your lofts is it always raining if it is i bet it can be very hard to get the pigeons to race well if you can not control the loft environment.

Where did you get these heat pads

they are made in Germany they are used by JOS THONE

I seen that on Elimar, I will ask Pigeondan if he can source them from Germany. Do you have them in your lofts?

i only have an 18ft loft for my racers, old and young,i have decent pigeons and sometimes i can see form drop from my pigeons depending what the weather is that day and i know it will stop you from winning, end of the year i will be changing my loft adding double walls and adding a false floor in the loft and installing the atx humidity heating panels has i think its too late to start messing about now.

they were about 220mmx1000 u can get them that put heat out front and back to do 2 sections they were about £220 then the stats were about £150-£200 or the digital one was about £350 thats just from memory mate so give or take a bit. hope this helps

I got them in 2002/2001 used them for 2 years they do not heat the air they only heat man and beast I got mine from joop kochs. As it was his mate who worked in the factory the made them. I found they brought the birds into form to soon in the season  I also found that you have to have them placed just right in the loft as the  birds will leave their boxes to sit on floor in front of it. If used right they will make a difference but when I had them they were new to the sport and none of use knew the best way to use them.
