My sincere apologies to everyone. I can assure you all, no one was more livid than myself and Gary Last night, but as you all know it was out of our control. I think it was the right decision to re-open the bidding for an hour tonight (even though I can't be here, I do have a life outside of PB) to be as fair as we possibly can be to all you good people who have supported this sale for a worthy cause. I will try and get back on before 21:00 but I cannot guarantee it.

 

REMEMBER THERE WILL BE NO PM BIDS ACCEPTED TONIGHT.

got kicked off last night just before 9 pm and managed to get back on at around 9-20 before i got kicked off again a couple of mins later i missed putting another bid on the lot i was interested on.so didnt get it. im sure there are others  who suffered a similar thing :-/ :-/

hi i remember this happening to pigeon chat a few years back on a sale i ran because of a high use of members at the end of sale the problem was because a lot of bids and refreshing pages going on it interfered with other websites that they shared with so the owner pulled  the plug due to complaints from these other websites this could be the reason for this happening last night well done to gary and bob many thanks vinnie

If this was the case, it wouldn't account for the fact that people were booted of the site at different times (Between 8:45 and 9:00) and also varying times for being able to get back on (anything from 9:30 to 11:30 and even later). Would be nice to know what the cause for it was though.

I have to say I have noticed a reduction in speed on this site over the past 3 weeks between 19:30 and 21:30 on a regular basis.
