Can clinical sick pigeons be cured and become healthy to go on and raise fully normal youngsters. A mate of mine had problems 2-3 years ago and 85% of the youngsters died around 12-14 days. The ones that survived are now also down and the parents of the youngsters In his Stock Loft have left nothing since. :(

carriers will still race but unless you cure the problem either by culling or correct treatment then it will be passed through generations and will take over the loft.

Weak youngsters will never be any good, champions are produced in the nest and not afterwards!

in 2008 had a problem with my youngbirds.

i raced the last three races in the federation because i couldnt catch up with the race programme...one hen took 7th fed and 18th fed the following race.

in 2009 that same bird was 15th fed lilliers ..eqivilent to 9th national on velocity..i was dull enough to not put her in at the last moment...she has taken futher cards .....i can only go on what my pigeons did after being sick.

lilliers is 254mls to me..im in a fed where by my town is mostly out of the federation results because of wind direction....nothernest club...velocities in south wales are different to what they would be in england...much slower .

i have a lot left of them....also had other score in the fed with that same bird.

and score since.

believe me im not into making false claims.
