MikeMason Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 I've been using Ivermectin for the last couple of years. It's great stuff.
ribble Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 but whatever you use, they wont grow new feathers until they moult,, as the root of the feather is still there, bitten off by these depluming mite I was always led to believe the above also. I have had one bothered and tried a few recommendations i have seen on here and other forums but none were shifting them. I was going to buy Benzyl Benzonate, then remembered i had seen it as an ingredient in my daughters bum cream, Sudocrem. After pasting the affected area the dead shafts have dropped out and new feather are growing through.
