Tony C Posted March 26, 2010 Report Posted March 26, 2010 Part of this great game for me is picking out a yearling that you think has a little something about it, a fancy. This years fancy is a medium size blue cock (779), he's the type that gives you the eyes lol watching me watching him. Will he live up to expectations or have I gone and put the dreaded kiss of death on him, time will tell
pjc Posted March 26, 2010 Report Posted March 26, 2010 its fatel having favourites, theyre always the first to go.

DJWa Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 i record what the y/bs are off of but don't look till the end of the season in case i favour any by going on what they are bred off
Guest IB Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 Almost opposite experience ;D there are two hens in the loft which I absolutely hated as YBs., thought a few times about getting rid of them. One, now a 3-yo, was on looks, head had a weedy dovey look about it; other, now 2 -yo, was on behaviour but think the hate thing must have been shared, as every time I came into loft, she came off perch and went to opposite end of loft, as far from me as possible. So now when I don't like a pigeon, I think there's a chance there. ;D
