Mr Yorkie Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 Hey, what about things the other way round?! Female fancier with a husband who is a non-fancier! Just had a disagreement when I found out that Man U were playing at 1pm next Sunday meaning we can't go out Sunday daytime. He replied saying what about the fact that it's the first race on Saturday so I can't do anything then!!!!

pigeonpete Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 Have to say I met Liz through our mutual love of pigeons,I only ever raced until I met her and she had only showed pigeons so we do both and so twice the fun ,once the racing is finished the showing begins so the year lasts a lot longer A year lasts a year tammy ya fool Glad you and liz are happy, When i first told the wife i was getting pigeons... she was like what!!!! didnt really care, or would not come down if they were out, as she thought they were going to land on her and attack her, like an alfred hitchcock moment. lol. 5 years later, she feeds them cleans them out, rings the babies, occasionally catches them. And without her i would not be able to keep them. And as my lofts are 3 miles from my house, She puts up with alot from me, As from april till sept she never sees me on a saturday :-)
