i got a loft full brought them in  2007

direct from roger lowe reading purchased from theo himself

How have they raced for you Tom, just wondering how people who have them are doing.  ;)

 

john hall aka pigeonscout has the best hartogs ive ever seen  :)

i found them good family of pigeons to be honest

2008 had a good young bird season 2009 had a better one

 

bred 2 pair for a local partnership one yb won

2 x 1st a youngster from them then won 5 x 1st clubs and 5 x 1st feds in same year

a grand son from them one 1st club 1st fed in 2009 and i bred him a pair in 2009 one one for him and topped the fed and the nest mate won for another mate from hereford who runs west country products on the same day

2 x 1st sections wnr fed 2009

 

2nd 4th  6th and 8th last week 5 th this week so not too far away  ;)

i have a few from the lines off d48 d388 blue orleans argy and sure thing all breedby john gerard just going to try then this yeer but i tell you they will have to be hard birds to fly the west coast of ireland

I must admit the first directs Roger had while they were still doing well with the Van Loons were not my cup of tea at all but they've certainly proved there worth for Roger! Have you been there?

yes phil he was flying as hudson and lowe at the time he then moved onto the hartogs when the partnership broke up

yep, Roger & Terry had a few Hartogs while still in partnership then Roger perserveared with them and Terry had the Borgmans, another fantastic family!

i was there phil a week after he was 1st 2nd and 3rd csc fc i had the hen that was 3rd shes the one at present throwing out the good uns lol

cant fault set up he has an averiy at the back of the loft with old timers in they averaged around 18 to 22 yrs of age ,he said theyve been too good a pigeon to just kill off and they go in their own time

The loft accross the garden!

Roger works the birds hard but as you say looks after the birds that have looked after him.

i did get a hen out of the avery but sadly shes gone now i went back up for her two weeks after my first trip ,she was playing on my mind and i was a hen short i turned her down first off due to her age but when i was one hen short i went back up and had her
