i have just read that "DEFRA ready to slash schedule 4". my understanding is that some hawks are due to come off the protected list,not sure if its true but?

Being dyslexic I find spelling easy the hard part for me is word blindness, up till the weekend I relied on Chickadee to keep me right, but the kind man Tammy showed me how to use spell check on the site, so there is hope for us all ;)

anyway rspb has already raised objection goes to show were they are at on protecting our birds wild??

but if lifted the ones in ross on wye will soon disapear and both seven bridges haveing now been back on t c site its surpriseing the effect eagle owls have on there nerves  more in britain is the answer

That is one Fund that should be up and running NATIONWIDE by all club's sites and such.

"Cage and Aviary birds August 28, page 2 says DEFRA ready to slash schedule 4. It says a disappointed RSPB spokesman says we know they've been concentrating on taking some birds of prey off the list, including the Peregrine and that's been a point of concern for us."

i started this thread to pass on this bit of good news,i have no idea if it will help[or hinder ;D ;D ;D],but i do know that if the rspb are "disappointed" then that has to be good news for pigeon fanciers ;D ;D ;D ;D

more than good news fantastic now they can conceder small birds as well which is why they were set up

A. is just telling R.S.P.B we arent gullible enough to still beleive your lies as regards them being a rare an dendangered species,now they are as common as any other species relatively speaking,and not benifiting from any special circumstances,no wonder this Raptor orgz are gobsmacked,now let Nature take its course.

they have spent years looking after hawks now its time to look after what they claim was at risks small birds defra may have heard on grapevine the hawks causeing prob to all birds????

I'm a cynic but I'll wait until I see it. RSPB is very powerful, time yet for them to sway things ................. I hope I'm wrong though and it will become safe to let the birds out around the loft.
