just came in to find one of my red cheqs  being devoered by mr hawk 2 ft away from my loft

got back from training and killed at home got a live eagle owl about 10ft away so not sure if its worth it any more(gutted) any body got any ideals

sorry to hear about your bird vining45....i know what its like to loose one and feel rage at the killer and the do gooders who protect them.........

Try the revolving orange light pal. I was getting hammered daily but since i got the beacon the sparrow hawks not been back Touch wood!!!!!!!!!

Now that he/she has killed there it will be back. You need a silent helper in the form of a Swedish Goshawk Trap. Look it up on the internet and you will see drawings and pictures. I have used one with great success. It also catches crows, magpies and much more. I once caught a blackbird in one. Accidently of course.

Mind you a Larson Trap works quite well, and I know people who use them regularly with great results.

Try not to scare the hawk while you make your trap because you want it to feel welcome.

guy in faulkland breeds them what time is harry likley to return as id like to thank him and owls about £200
