cemetary Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 Just watching them getting fed, and another ring in the nest, looks to be pink, what happens to the rings that get collected from the nest, does any body get notified of the rings.

Guest Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 Does anyone know how to take a screen shot, to save the evidence?
Guest Owen Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 I am sure that if anyone was caught taking those rings, a case could be made against them for theft.
Guest Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 cheers bob ;)dont see any ring though The youngsters are covering the pink ring at the moment. Yesterday the hen was ripping a pigeon apart that had a closed ring, white marker ring and a pale race rubber all clearly visible
carlsberg Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 also in nest are a green ring and a white ring as well as the pink ring but cannt see them at moment as babies are covering them
Guest Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 I see in the diaries they only refer to "pigeon", not racing, and i think it was this site that orignally excluded any form of pigeon from its list of prey, but it was obvious last year it was the main diet!! Its a shame we cant see the "anti- mating jackets in action here, would raise a few smiles here and be interesting to see if anyone intervened in nature!

Guest Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 well the birds will be rung this week, no doubt the pigeon rings removed. I have asked for them to be reported, i doubt it, i suspect the comment will be removed shortly: http://derbyperegrines.blogspot.com/2009/05/watchpoint-report-for-saturday-16-may.html Last comment.

Guest Denny Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 Does anyone know how to take a screen shot, to save the evidence? If you hold down ctrl and press PrtSc (hold down control key and press print screen) and then right click either in a new word document or into Paint you can get a copy of the screen you are viewing - you can then enlarge or crop the image. Then save the document and you can then attach it to an email.
