Delboy Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Bloody cat was in my loft again tonight. It pushed its way through my bob wires and into aviary.Birds going mental but it didnt get any.Lucky I went out to check loft as Im just back from meeting.I knew it was about as I saw it during week. Does anybody think it may put pigeons off from going to SNFC Falaise next week? :-/

frank-123 Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 i guess you will need to see how they go in and out over the next few days hope they settle in time for you
Guest numpty01 Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 close loft down and darken for couple days only let light in when feeding for half hour then darken down again they will then settle and stay calm and feel secure that will sort them out
Bluedoo Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 i guess you will need to see how they go in and out over the next few days hope they settle in time for you Agree with the above, but if in doubt........leave it out. The channel is very unforgiving.
Guest HighSpeedLofts Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Salt water floatation test required. lol what is this test then
Guest stb Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 have had it before and birds did not perform well for quite a while, would be very cautious what you send. all the best anyway.

pjc Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 you will know your birds better than anybody, watch them carefully and if not 100% certain they are settled and behaving normally, excersising, trapping eating etc then leave them at home.
Peckedhen Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 I kept my birds in for two weeks after my feline intruder, they still wouldn't trap when I let them out and it took three days to get some of them in. :(
Guest numpty01 Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 yes but did you darken down loft this makes them rest and forget and calmer
