Guest bakes Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 went down to open loft up open slot so the pigeons can fly to the new sputnik as soon as my back was turned bang a bloody hawk like bird size in between a peregrine and a female sparrow hawk was white colour with grey back and grey flecks over its chest with leather things around its legs got hold of one of my ybs was trying to rip it through the side of my sputnik as got an all wire sputnik not happy if its not pergrines,sparrowhawks now a bloody falconers bird not happy lookly the bird got away with a scratch's

Guest j.bamling Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 your lucky this is what happened when a local quarrys saker X falcon got hold of our bird its a one off John & Alex mellor (Thunderbirds ) off this site however i was compensated for the bird and gave assurences it wouldn't happen again which it hasn't the Falconer nearly lost the contract & his job over it though !!!

blaz Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 had a young man stayed just up the road a few years ago he had a bop. so i told him it go,s near my birds and i will ring its neck.week later seen having a go after my birds as i seen the Jessie's hanging from its legs.so i then told the local young team their was a case of beer bounty on it,s head.never seen it again and the guy moved.
