the dude Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 what utter rubbish if the rspb are correct then how is it that fanciers who have turned birds out twice aday for periods going back over twenty years or more cannot let them out at all without attack from bop some so frustrated they have left the sport they loved secondly the goverment have given a small fortune to the farming community to help the wildlife of the hedgebacks but still the small songbirds are in decline > > > > > > > >
Guest karl adams Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 1 of the comments on there if birds of pray are not responsible for the damage they are doing not only to pigeons but to our song birds all the birds ive seen been killed on my bird feeders must of been a dream (i wished) some ppl do go round with there eyes closed put a bird feeder in your garden and watch it and see how long it takes for a bird of pray to come knocking the amount of birds down to non left in your garden then come back and say the same
Guest SPORTKA Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 He makes the uninformed comment How do your racing pigeons fare being cooped up in lorries with no water during transportation to the Continent? How the bl**dy hell can he be allowed to make comments like this in a national newspaper sounds like slander to me, I think he needs to have a look at a modern transporter, and I think the pigeon racing community ought to be arranging a nicely worded solicitors letter or some form of reply to this load of crap, I also think as it becomes more obvious to the public at large that our birds are been ripped to bits by these hawks we will see more of this type of propaganda.

Guest Davy Fleming Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 IF ANY OF YOU BOP MEMBERS ARE READING THIS, YOUR HEADS UP SOME PLACE THAT THE SUN DON'T SHINE AND THE NEXT TIME ONE KILLS ANOTHER OF MY BELOVED PIGEONS I WILL GIVE YOU A CALL AND YOU CAN COME WITH YOUR BLACK TIE ON AND A BLACK BAG BECAUSE YOU WON'T BE GOING AWAY EMPTY HANDED. YOUR COMMENTS JUST MAKE ME SO ANGRY AS YOU DON'T REALISE HOW MUCH HURT IT CAUSES US PIGEON FANCIERS TO SEE OUR BELOVED BIRDS BEING RIPPED TO SHREDS
