jimmy white Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 i may be mistaken ,,but i think he held the record many years ago from barcelona to scotland 1,000 miles with lionheart ,, if wrong maybe someone will correct me ,,
Novice Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 Didnt he send and time in a few times back in the 70s from the Scottish 1,000ml club His last Club Race was in 1968. I believe his best position was 3rd at 120 miles. He did have a pigeon called Lionheart which homed from Barcelona. This bird was sold to Jim Biss and is in the pedigree of some Biss pigeons. Possibly an ancestor of Natrix. Henry has sold birds on the strength of this ever since.
mac1 Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 has he bred any recent good birds, never heard anything
