Mealy Cock Posted March 5, 2010 Report Posted March 5, 2010 I'm not sure after reading that reply if the RSPB are completely brain washed or brain dead, whichever, that's the reply I would have expected from them, they don't give a sh**. Lindsay. Hi Lindsay It’s the kind of response I would expect from them; however I will after some research send a response As I thought eagle owls were native to this country. As for this comment he made "admire the skill and beauty of this very specialised hunter". I will send my comment as well, one thing I am going to ask is, would the RSPB like to contribute Via the RPRA for the loss of thousands of racing pigeons killed each year that provides bird watchers with a spectacle of seeing birds killed.

Roland Posted March 5, 2010 Report Posted March 5, 2010 Come back Les. Come back Bilco, all's forgiven ... or soon should be. Your words were and are pearls of wisdom. I see that the Red Dye under the wings seems to be having good reports regards results in Germany. However, myself, I think it is, and will be only a short matter of time till the Peres etc. wise up and take as before. I was mad at the misses a couple of years back after she saw a Dove caught and eat on my shed via a Sparrow Hawk. She went and shoo - ed it of, but was put off by the sight. Blood etc. Mad, well yes, in that I wasn't there to enlighten it's taste buds. As they say salt heighten it's taste to enjoy more. Like the man says they always come back.... But sparow hawks are easy to control. Pere's etc. well thay are a bit special. So I have to accept and admire their antics. I rub lard and salt in to mine deter the mites / lice etc. on my pigeons. Never see nary a one on them, so must work well. Lice free, perhaps will streamline my birds a mite (No pun lol) and I can watch their amazing flights in peace of mind.
