Well Avril, I will give you my 100% suport. And to the the people who want to argue, I think you should shut up now because you have said enough. And to Les and his mates, I would like to remind you that the Gurkers where no match for the mighty British Government until they fought and won. We may not have the best tactics right now but I am sure we will find the right way to fight if we stick at it.

i think the comments re sobsbs should now stop comments from some clearly have no clue as to the effect or indeed the effort made other than the mistake they made on the path they took sobsbs is not defunct nor idle  and another phase is already in motion

Les as you know illegal practices are not permited to be promoted on site , somehow this doesnt get throught to you that other bodies could be reading it a great start to anyone trying to get anything into the public eye

I started a poll a while back and it got great support about 75% on the main membership and it got know where. I then retried and set up http://wwspb.forumotion.com/index.htm and it died a death. Others started up http://sobsbs.forumotion.net/ and again it got no real support and if this is what sabotaged the BOP then it stood no chance against the RSBP as it only involved a few members trying to something along the same lines.

It was down to cliches and spitting out dummies that put members off as usual, we are never going to fight the RSPB and the public from the pigeon pulpit as pigeons and a few other birds they prey on are considered vermin, the bigger the web the more chance you have of catching peoples attention that is why I thought http://wwspb.forumotion.com/index.htm had a slight chance at drawing a bigger support from all walks of life

Yes I believe I did try and get the ball rolling at one time and the rest mentioned did follow but that is by the by, until we stop and regroup and get our heads together it is a waist of time. Human nature manufactures cliches, they part of all walks of life, I mind as a fresh 20yr old journeyman being put into a section down the mine which was a renowned cliche and the first shift I walked into the section howf my first words were "is this where the cliche hangs out" and to this day it has never changed. Evening , we can protect the birds with a human rights order from the bop ,It is our human rights to protect out livestock which is a sport it is NOT a hobby from BOP .If we have a permit which we can get from Scottish Parliment to protect our livestock we are doing nothing wrong at all .Human Right Campain will have them running . we need to have the support to turn the sport into livestock and then we can do it together .

It is classed as a sport. It is I believe still class as Livestock, or was under the MMFF. etc. Been trying for countless years for pigon racing to be classed as a sport to no avail.
