sure its time somebody visited the nest for a clean and collect all last years rings!

 

agree phil...then fanciers will know where ALL them lost pigeons go m8 ;)

YOU OBVIOUSLY WERE DRIVING TO SLOW IT SHOULD HAVE PASSED UNDER  THE CAR

Happened to log on yesterday and see the Hen eating a woodcock. As for rings the RSPB will never release them because they know it will cause uproar due to the ammound they have found and the fact that racing pigeons are higher up the food chain than they are letting on. If you remember years back when the Pigeon Sport paper was in circulation rings were posted from nest sites in Ireland and there were thousands of them - some were mine and in fact i trawled through the lists that were published weekly and found 19 rings from our club. The RSPB will not let us have that information nowadays as it will not be good for their Propaganda campaign.
