Sparrow Hawk Hen

Watched the hen earlier on dive at a strag, didnt think it got it, but 5 mins ago got a phone call from wan owe the neighbours to say a pigeon was limping across her path, pair thing was hut on both wings, had ti dispose of it, i though the hen hit it, but there yi go, she isnt sitting yet.  >

big,mate rab has been a gamekeeper on five estates now ove jobsr the last 15,years had to keep changing jobs due to grouse moors being closed to the bops.

                 now doing a pheasent,and deer estate in inverness,tells me the bops are active all year round,to many hens working solo or in pairs cause they dont have mates
