Hi every1 i have had a problem in my loft with a shuffle around when pairing up i moved my cock birds around but i have had 1 pair which were unsucessfull in laying they have been paired for about 5 weeks the original cock to hen and vica versa are paired together but their chicks are now 2 weeks old and i want to put the hen back to the other cock then the hen the same but wonder if this will be a problem as i want to get a clutch of this cock and hen

Just took 2 y/b's away last week and the hen got out by me when the y/b's were about 8 days old :'( :'( :'(  but the cock reared the both of them like a champion and made a great job of it too as they are both crackers ;) 8) 8) 8)

Racers are far better at rearing than roller's that is what i been told but the birds are 2 weeks old and doing really well i will take the hen away for a day and see what happens if the cock feeds them ok will re-pair her to original cock

 

any other advise please on this matter i will seperate tomorrow after reading anymore advise

i have a roller cock at the moment feeding 2 younguns from 2 weeks old and hes doing a good job :)
