andyb Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 so long as the birds are healthy get them in a basket it beats all the theories
Wiley Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 IT LIE FLAT ON THE BOTTOM OF IT BEAK,and wat fifer says is true if you opens a pigeons beak to far its tongue will come of the bottom, however some pigeons will have this even if the beak is open a minute opening.I like to see all my pigeons tongues lie flat on the bottom!but id still send the ones that didnt, cos im not a theriost and i believe pigeons win in all shapes sizes, colours and whateva
swilcox Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 My partner Raymond Moleveld and his mentor Sam De Jong believes that if when you open the beek of a pigeon the tongue rises then he is whats called "out of balance". They have reframed from breeding from these birds. They learnt this from the great Piet De Weerdt. Stuart
