snowy Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 think if left to their own choices racing pigeons would make the wrong ones ? its easy to see what happens to the ferels in the towns they dont realy evolve for the better ! racing pigeons were engineered by man ,there is no wild or natural selection for them ! , so i feel its up to us to maintain the products we have created ......ray i totally agree, if theres somthing your going to aim for as in: long distance birds to long distance. i dont think leaving distance birds & sprint birds to pair up will do any good for what you use them for. or even if you have a bird that always come last? would it be a good if it paired up to a winner?? just my opinion
