we should be all mature people who can give and take opinions without getting nasty .  I did not find your post negative in anyway.

 

if we all did everything the same way... then there would probally be no sport at all.  the fact that we all do things differently is part of what makes it interesting.

think if left to their own choices racing pigeons would make the wrong ones ? its easy to see what happens to the ferels  in the towns they dont realy evolve for the better ! racing pigeons were engineered by man ,there is no wild or natural selection for them  ! , so i feel its up to us to maintain the products we have created ......ray

 

i totally agree,

if theres somthing your going to aim for as in: long distance birds to long distance. i dont think leaving distance birds & sprint birds to pair up will do any good for what you use them for. or even if you have a bird that always come last? would it be a good if it paired up to a winner??
