motivation or box perch

hi all as you will geuss im new to the sport and wanted to no wot most of you use for your young bird prech's motivation or just standerd box perch's thanks to any of you who reply

i use just v perch's and when i get into a few race's i put boxe's on the floor for the youngsters to pair up in.I'm on deep litter as well so i often find nest all over the place.

i am just building a new loft as ive moved away from my dad and leaving the partner ship i use v pearches cuz its and easy way to clean everything but the only disadvantage is with all the droppings falling in one place on the floor i reccomend a powder you could use cant remind the name but as sooon as i do ill let you know basically it dries the droppings that way it wouldnt make the floor as damp mate

these perches are great for your birds

i just put my bucket down scrap the tray into the bucket the birds are cleaner and if they puke the food up  you see it lying in the tray rather than being eaten from the floor

Ryesway !!!!!!!! Welcome to the world of utter confusing/bewilderment   ;) "Pigeon racing". No one way in this caper I'm afraid  ;D ;D ;D as you will soon learn. "Myself" I'm a perch man, & I was 1st club 3rd fed 400miles last saturday 3000+birds in the liberation, of which I had the 3rd best velocity. So I'm happy with the perch system I use.

Freebird !!!!!!!!!! I'm no wise guy   ;) & I will never say I have all the answers etc in this caper   :) . But !!!!!!!!! I do know that certain pigeons, will fight to there death to keep there favorite perch in the loft. So really speaking, is that any different to having a mate or box etc.

I got perches and boxes and I also turned the eaves into boxes as well

Box perches if you are flying youngbirds natural as you can put a few bowls on them for motivation!
