hi fello fanciers ..could you please tell me how many times a day do you feed your young birds once they are up flying and ranging... plus roughley how much morning and night ..if twice a day...ive had 2 years of and it sounds daft but ive forgot everything.. :( :( or is it my age....many thanks for reading ..mark...ps ive been feeding once a day what someone told me and its just not working... :( :( :( :(

feed twice a day you also have much more control over your birds, alot of people make the mistake racing young birds with too heavy of a mix, a young bird mix should contain plenty of barley, more of a 50% 50% mixture, this also gets them on the wing alot quicker. feed about desert spoon each in the morning in the hopper after fly if not letting out in morning feed them early as possible. in the evening feed alittle at a time to they stop eating the barley, once barley starts to be left feed no more
