Okitsme Posted October 3, 2008 Author Report Posted October 3, 2008 I have a pair now, gifted to me and could not for the life of me find any information on them. I raced the cock this year as a yearling and he did not do too bad. I am hoping he will do better next. Thanks for the info guys.
pjc Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 I think somebody called Dave Cork flew them fairly well.
Novice Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 I think somebody called Dave Cork flew them fairly well. Yes I think he did. Bernie Bennet who writes in the BHW had some of his and wrote about them regularly. Did they originate from Verottes?
Tony C Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 Also think R. Faulkner had them and the name Perry comes to mind (Norfork way I think)
Wiley Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 Bernie Bennet who writes in the BHW had some of his and wrote about them regularly. Did they originate from Verottes? How did Bernie Do with them?
The Game Keeper Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 colin surtees has them agent for natural breding station he will be at doncaster show with some have a talkto him
allenyeates Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 I have some Leus pigeons and yes they did come from the verrottes. I bought the originals from Natural in 2005 and bred pure and crossed with my busshearts and distance stuff(southwells). They say they are sprinters out to about 250 miles but my mate scored well with one from 450. I personally prefer the crosses for racing.
