Guest IB Posted April 9, 2010 Report Posted April 9, 2010 I had a bad YB season last year. Up till then, when my YBs had been ranging for a time, I'd start them at 10 miles, then go to 20, without problems. Last year because they were younger, I started them at less than 5 miles and experienced much the same as you today. No offence, but in my opinion tossing pigeons for them just to go off again for hours at the home end is a complete waste of time. This year I'll be going back to range first, then train 10 & 20 miles.
