the flights

now that the season is moving on and the distances increasing,also the moult of the flights  increasing ,just wondered as to what importance the fanciers,  put to the attention to the flights [i,e,  the moulting of these ]

 

my preference would be, for the distance,  a pigeon with its second flight just piping through ,, races in june/july

my widowhood cocks are still holding there flights expect them to drop there first flight soon roundabout hens have throne first flight.

I've found my pigeons hit top form 4-5 weeks after dropping their first flight. My naturals have just started to throw their first so fingers crossed
