Guest Vic Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 Most guys I've talked with, reckon there will be no libs this weekend. I disagree, because with the help of a southerly wind, and no worse than moderate visibility, but light rain at times. I am sure we will be clocking birds recording fairly high velocities. 12 hours is 1200 ypm where I fly. What do you think?
Guest Vic Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 They MUST get them up tomorrow, with the assisting wind. They will hang if they dont!
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 There does seam to be a window for releasing pigeons from France (Tours)and be able to get a race with the pigeons hitting little rain or no rain at all and like Vic says with the south winds it can only assit the pigeons if they do find a shower or two, how acurate the forcasts are is a different matter as even 12 hours is a long time in forcasting the weather..
