computer program

hi i am after a computer program,

 

such as the ones that you see advertised in the homing world,

 

not really fused about pedigrees,but it would be nice to have results, all info about perticular bird/s,pairings,race sheets etc,

 

which program would you recamend if any?

The one from East Coast software .com is more than adequate for your needs and costs £55, where as others are priced over £100

Hi Piggy. I have used the East Coast Software one for around 4 years now and found it really good. If you have any problems with it you can phone them and they sort you out over the phone. You can download a trial programme from their website on www.eastcoastsoftware.com. Worth a look, and reasonably priced.

i also agree with shadow & doostalker,i have used the east coast one for the past 5 years,and found it to be adequate for the ordinary fancier,& good value compared to prices asked for other programmes.

I found the East Coast one a bit hard to use, well compared to some others I tried before I bought them; I now use the PLO program at http://www.plosoft.com/ it does everything I wanted, and was £17 when I bought it, if I remember right.

there is alot on the market these days for different prices id recommend the east coast software (loft management programe) if you need further help or go to www.pigeonbasics.com/links/category-downloads.html and there is programmes that are recommended there, as well as a free downloadable demo so you can get a taster and it will be more than enough for your needs and its not that expensive.

Just had a letter today from East coast software they are upgrading there program so the price is going up if you already use program 7 the cost of the upgrade is £ 25, so I would think first time buyers will be lucking at £80, still cheaper than many others.

I am wondering with the new M-1 from benzing how long until they intergrate it into loft management software for those that dont have software I wasnt too keen on getting it but I needed to do 80+ pedigrees so I broke down and got some it takes a while to build a database but man is it worth it I just recently bought a new computer and havent installed the program yet man am I lost without it I will definatly be getting it back before I breed next year

TYVM Danny is a good guy I talk with him on occasion he handled birds for me for the Lou race we have several guys in our club with the M-1 and it does some cool stuff I will be getting one soon sorry to hear that he was having trouble

Has anyboby ever tried to upgrade their hawkeye system or change their details, nightmare all you get is a stupid automated email response saying someone will get back to you but they never do. anyone have a phone no for this company.

I Have had a couple of programs over the last few years, but the latest one is by far the best.

The program is called COMPUSTAM the makers of the program are Compuclub van balveren it is sold by Ray Knight.
