thunderboult Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 i've tried a kit of jos thone yb's and some tournier ex stock, got pedigrees with the ex stock but not yb's. the £35 delivery is to you, or at least it was. with the yb's i asked for 5 cocks and got 4 cocks and 1 hen(not bad there) 3 scored and 1 is the sire to my first bird from bergerac last year. the older stock i had 3 tournier's i paired 2 together and ended up giving the other hen away (no room) . the tournier's paired together i found came but seemed to lack a bit of zip, so i swapped the tournier hen for a hofkens hen and that did the trick as he bred me a club+sect winner that year.

Guest Paulo Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 Eddy seems a nice bloke so I am going to try two belgium bad boys from there. Dunno what to do though narrowed it down to the following choices:- 1. J Thone 2. Van Dyck 3. Vandenabeele (I already have enjoyed successful with Gabys lads Has natural brought the best like?
Guest Paulo Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 Preordering is a bit of a pain I'd rather have a look at some YB's and pick a few out
