hi am looking for a pair of Rapido Busschaerts as this breed of pigeons that got me in to this sport . if any one is selling some can they reply thanks . p.s

 

looking for whites and saddle backs thanks .

Rapido bushaerts are lovely birds, and if you manage to get one with feathery legs get it over the channel, they do well from 400+ for some reason. They are very prone to hawks attacks on the down side!!!!

I have heard that old tale...............and have also heard its not necessarily true...

 

I have a loft full of white Rapidos that fly out, and have only one has ever come back after being hit by a hawk..........in 4 years

 

good luck with your search..............you might want to try Warren Foster.....white flight lofts................his birds are exeptional...............but can be quite pricey

whats the difference between these birds and regular whites crossed with winning blue bars?

i have a pair Rapido bushaerts  the cock is as white as snow the hen is a checker pied  in the first nest i had two whites like there dad i now have a second nest but this time i have 1 white and 1 red gay pied  were the red has come from i dont no as these birds am on there own

i wouldnt be to sure that its going to be a red pied, looking more like a blue pied or a cheq pied to me

That would have come from the Chequer for a guess. Somewhere in her ancestry was a red cheq or a mealy and since white is not a true colour I'm guessing the genes found a match and made red. From the picture it's going to be a gorgeous pigeon  :'( ;D

are the whites and gay pides worth sending to a race as im often told they are easy food for birds of pray
