p s can i come for tea or coffee  but would prefer a bottle of NEWCASTLE BROWN ALE

Gareth do you have any proof that a certain member had tried blackmailing another, but if this has occured it is wrong. and you should be out having a birthday lunch mate.. :)

And please leave the mate bit out as i classify many members on pigeonbasics as being a friend/mate but you are definitely not one i would put in this group.

Alan, anyone is more than welcome here - especially when it comes to August when i move the big loft  ;) ;)

That is what makes the sport so exciting its unpredictability there is no guarantee of success no matter what birds strain you have or how much you pay for them its all about hard work and knowing your birds and what you think they are capable of and treated properly they will no doubt surprise you one way or the other. If it was as simple as success breeding success by the amount you pay then most of us would have left the sport long time ago. I like to think (or dream) that the ordinary layman has a chance of breeding a champion after all most of the successful fanciers were like us ordinary until "Lady Luck" smiled . Line breeding.x breeding,inbreeding - "One mans meat is another mans poison"
