OLDYELLOW Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 This is an old Australian family of grizzzles knwn as Grooters grooters aint Australian ;D ;D ;D ;D
cutter Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 The Grooters came into Australia in 1924 they were the last of the imports from the UK before imports where stopped. So they are an old Australian family of pigeons they like many of the other old Australian familys like the Barkers, Harrison, Logan are being chased by many as they will race on hard days un like the current imports.
OLDYELLOW Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 http://www.pipa.be/artikelsnew/gallez/grooters.htm guess they were antques by time they landed there but nice looking birds

Should say an "Old British Strain" imported to Australia and only when an Australian has formed a family blended etc over time can they be called "Australian"!
