Hi Any tips on how to keep young birds off my garage roof. The loft is directly right next to the loft. I chase them off and they went and landed on the house roof, which I dont want. The young birds are only just starting to take to the air so they are not flying round the loft yet just exploring. the last thing I want to do is scare them off, but young are like sheep they follow each other

Leave them to it for now, Its better than them going on the house roof ;)

agree with this....leave them for now, dont go scaring them off or you could loose them while they are just getting their bearings. once they are flying around properly and you have a routine going (feeding etc) they will get out of the habit. :)

hi mate,i wouldnt worry yet, once there all batching then you can chase them of if they still go on

put yourself a big stone in carrierbags then place on the roof, couple of times then they will learn, this is what i do, it works.

I would leave them alone and concentrate on getting them to understand your call. The time to worry is when they sit there looking at you and refuse to move. I feed those that repond to my call and those who don't go without. It takes about a week for them to get the idea. After that it is just a question of reinforcing your discipline routinely. Job done.

because they should be on the loft roof and if there happy on the house roof its the first place they'll go when they return from a race wasting time,  water bombing them sounds a good idea but dont hit them personally a peice of rope tied to something behind the garage when they land there just give the rope a whip and start doing it now they'll soon learn

i dont mind the babys going on house roof for 2 to 3 weeks wen first letting out after that they get water bombed they soon learn not to but if any persist than there gone i wont have birds sitting on roofs it becomes habit forming and they all soon catch on
