A bit of a Quiz

 

In 1970 there was a Mealy Born with the last 3 numbers 128, was he the greatest long distance breeder ever in the country and my Question was who bred him and what was the names of his two famous children;

Somebody has already mentioned the fanciers, funny thing this pigeon didnt even have a name, just a ring number such was there modesty, his two children were in fact sold to a high profile fancier who changed there names and much spoke of there origin.

 

No its Tarbes with the NFC could be 6 or 7???

P.S. Cheers Vic, i know that fanciers like you as many of the old timers around the Mendips dont think a fancier is wearing anything other than shorts unless they time a good un out of the distance!!!! So im hoping to go up in a few peoples estimations!!!

Could it not be champion Woodsider that belonged to Jack paley. He was a splash backed Mealy the same as Motta not sure only a guess He was 1st open Palamos around 1973

for Jack Paley He was also a prolific breeder.

it must be Fear Brothers (Sam & Roly) whos stock came from Bob Legg and Bert Thatcher. Was one of 128's youngsters the 633 and another called Clandown

It was Hermana and Hermona, nestmate who moved to Jim Biss, he called one Lama and the rest is history. they won 1st BBC Palaomos and 1st BICC Barcelona between them.

Are you not thinking about Champion Clanfield expected who was Blue Cattryse cock that won well in the NFC in the mid to late 70's I think he won a national outright as well but don't quote me on that
