Guest HighSpeedLofts Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 How often should i train my pigeons some people tell me every day and others tell me twice a week i have tried both methods and my birds seem to fly better on race day being trained twice a week
little sam Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 Then keep to what your pigeons do best at, What one flyer does that makes his pigeons fly better could be different for another flyer
Guest phillip Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 Depends on your training program you are using . We in South Africa tend to train them around the Loft every day . The duration differs from Loft to Loft and we do roadwork for distance weekly . We make use of the Union transporter according to the roster when the vehicle goes in a direction .

REDCHEQHEN Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 I don't train once racing has started except for the longer distance races
