jimmy_bulger Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 i thought pigeon racing was easy. 41 years later i realise it only get's harder, what we think we know and what we realy know is 2 diffeent things. but then thats why we enjoy it to live and learn....
Chris Little Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 Now in my 22nd year of our wonderful sport, made tons of mistakes no doubt will make many more. Racing mistakes, sending that special bird that race too far or sending it when I had a niggle about only to lose it, chasing averages, send birds when forcast ahs been poor..... the list is endless Breeding wise...... I made a big mistake in thinking BELG / NL birds were the be all and end all
pjc Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 I think we all make misstakes, but do we learn from them? I've pushed birds a race to far, bred to many, paid to much for the wrong birds, given the wrong birds away etc etc but its all part of learning in this great sport!
Guest rodders Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 throwing good birds away thro chasing averages was my biggest mistake in early years of racing
