Guest frank dooman Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 when i spoke to you hommer p you are more interisted in the distance so dont be put off by the club and fed raceing it all takes time as i said to you there are great fanciers in your club and that must feel very daunting to a new start so as i said just listen say nothing and learn but after a few years you will learn and get better i wish i was in a loc like you but you cant help where you stay be patient it will come good luck we will have a good blether when you come through ;)
Whats it called Cumbernauld Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 Best to think on your plans and don't worry about opposition. Try and read and find out as much as you can. Some fanciers will get a good early bird because of what they done in preperation. However some will get a good eairly pigeon in spite of what they may have done. So don't worry, you will get your turn it may just take sometime thats all. As for these great Fanciers they should tell you, it is much easier to get to the top, than it is to stay there. Good luck

Whats it called Cumbernauld Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 stb- I never said it would be easy, as for me i am far from the top, but had my turn. My post was about encouragemant for this fancier who worries for nothing. He would do well to enjoy his pigeons, and not worry about great names of someone who once won two races in a row.

My m8 joined Coatbridge this year and he is looking forward to racing his pigeons again yep the secretary and the chairman generate £1,400 cash for our club them selfs and we get a free bag of feeding each, 35 members all helps and the bird age is not over the top your mate will do alright del no problem and we get the birds all done and gone for about 7-30pm

Should always enjoy the pigeons as you cant win all the time dont matter how good you are and yes most people get there turn ;)
Whats it called Cumbernauld Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 Cheers look forward to competing against you next year, as i will be flying in Kilsyth, with the Glasgow fed. However unlike Homer i will focus on my pigeons, and not on the oppesition. 8)
