mark croker Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 Use galvinised wire, about a 3 quid for 30 metres and a car battery charger about a tenner and make your own fence, it does the trick
Guest Owen Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 There are plenty for sale. Just search for it on the internet. I have a mains fencer and I never get troubled by either cats or their Owners. The bonus is that it is 100% on dogs and foxes as well. If I had not got mine when I did, I could have ended up in bad trouble. I was very close to smacking the one neighbour and another one had reported me because cats had gone missing. To me electric fencers are an essential item to keep pigeons.
mark proctor Posted February 21, 2010 Author Report Posted February 21, 2010 thanks lads,,all the best ,,mark...

micko and jack Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 Use galvinised wire, about a 3 quid for 30 metres and a car battery charger about a tenner and make your own fence, it does the trick I just happened to be reading up on this a few weeks ago after we had the break-in I was giving this very serious thought after googling it i got a news link some pensioner had it up to his back teeth for cats p**sing on his lawn and plants so he put up his own electric fencer of a car battery charger and fried the neighbours cat in front of a screaming child you should remember a battery charger is putting out current ALL THE TIME a proper fencer sends out pulses when I was thinking about one the wife wasn't happy about it and said michael you might HURT someone now those off you that know me WOULD I HURT SOMEONE ROBBING MY JACKS FANTAILS
