They will throw up on Metronidazole if given with corn in the crop. They must be given the tablets on an empty crop.

(kewl)(kewl)(evil) They will throw up on Metronidazole if given with corn in the crop. They must be given the tablets on an empty crop. They were given it on an empty crop - they threw the tablet up (and these were 2 and 3 year old hens)

Mine all seemed ok with it although i get the tablets from the Vets and break them into 4 pieces and give 2 pieces one after the other. Not sure what way medpet sell theirs (regarding size).

They were 100mg - cellulose coated I think I think that is too strong - and prefer to give the quarters which I have not had any problems with Well there's your answer hens!
