hi , i have been in and around pigeon's for allmost 50year's , as of yet , have never seen a bird with a fungal infection causeing the feather to rot , on the other hand i have seen the destruction  that mite's can do , if any one can post a pic of this so called feather rot , it might clear a few thing's up .

 

is it FEATHER ROT or DEPLUMEING MITE  ?

Thats common to most household fly sprays & pigeon sprays, it's in the chlorcarb dip you've used already?

Bandit as i said on another thread, most scabie (or pubic lice) treatments contain Permethrin, just usethat, strength should be 5%. You can also buy it most hardware places to use as a dip, dilute at 10-20 ml per liter.

THANKS MICK IVE SPRAYED MY BIRDS TODAY WITH ECTOSPRAY WHICH CONTAINS PERMETHRIN 0.25% BUT WILL GET LYCLEAR AND DILUTE AS YOU SAID ALSO GETTING CHLORCARB AS IM TOLD THIS ALSO WORKS.GREAT TO GET ALL THE ADVICE AND HOPE MY BIRDS COME RIGHT.
