Novice Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 This year I used an oil specially prepared for pigeons. I noticed that it contained sunflower oil. I priced this in Tesco and found it to be considerably cheaper than the oil sold for pigeons. I feel there is scope here to mix our own blend of oils as required by using supermarket available ingredients much more cheaply than the commercially available blend. Yes I will include Rape seed oil next year when I start blending.
