i use yoghurt theres alot of debate how much live bacteria is left but most companys say there is enough to colonise the gut , these must withstand bile im doing a bit of research into this at the moment with a company that makes cultures for yoghurt and cheese making ( although cheese is a different process )

alot of probiotic products are being removed from shops or being forced to readvertise what they are supposed to do . there are no scientific facts to prove they do what they say they do....jakult is one of those products which have been ordered to readvertise

Yeah Entrodex is still available.. i think they call it Entrobiotic now tho..

i think yakult is good the first sign of wet dropping in ybs i used yakult this year and all was fine within tew days, its also a good agent to use to add powders to corn

the best probiotic is straight from the farm,otherwise by the time it reaches the shelves in shops a lot of the good probiotics has already died.

just remember when you treat not to use probiotic yoghurt at the same time..it holds calcium and we all know how medications can be affected by calcium.

there are clear benifits and lots of scientific facts about live cultures and there probotic properties and there resistance to antibiotics below is a link to the various cultures issolated and there propertys which are benificial to animals and humans supporting the immune system i still find live yoghurt a cheap sorce of these live bacteria

from talks of a manifacturer of live cultures theres enough live bacteria in the product when its used and enough to colonise the gut and can survive bile and acid and be excreted these live bacterias are very tough indeed , they do make frozen yoghurt also suply the live bacteria in a freezed dried form or even tablet form , im still in talks with this company
