hi m8 , i have found that sometimes i had a bird sneeze  same day as i put that floor white down  as dust from it was in air  so i tried  to keep birds out of loft for as long as i could then let them in jus before roosting time and i didnt  hear any sneezing after that

If you are using floor white or any other fine powder like lime in the loft, then two rules:

(1) use it sparingly.

(2) brush it in.

Floor white simply tells you to 'brush well in'. It doesn't explain why you've to do this though. Floor White doesn't carry any warning, but lime dust can iritate human eye nose and throat linings, so reckon it can do the same to pigeons..
